Ru Cha and Tam Giang Lagoon.

Tour Code: HUE5
Duration: 01
Level: Easy

At 2:00 PM, our car and experienced guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Tam Giang, located about 8 km from downtown Hue towards Thuan An beach. At 2:30 PM, you'll make your first stop at the Uncle Ho memorial site in the village of Duong No. This site preserves many memories of Uncle Ho, especially from the time when he and his family lived and studied here. You'll visit memorable places such as the guesthouse, the communal house of Duong No, Ben Da, and Am Ba.

Next, you'll explore the Ru Cha mangroves, a pristine forest of about 4 hectares that has existed for over 100 years. At 4:00 PM, you'll board a boat (sampan) for a cruise in the Chuon region, at the heart of the Tam Giang lagoon, the largest brackish-water lagoon in Southeast Asia. This is the perfect opportunity to explore much of the lagoon. In the late afternoon, you'll have the chance to take photos of the beautiful light changes and observe local life in a fishing village. You'll also discover local activities such as fishing and traditional crafts like "Cho house," nò, and sáo.

You'll enjoy a seafood dinner at the Dam Chuon Lagoon restaurant, a unique oasis in the middle of the lagoon, where you'll savor must-try dishes like "Whale’s bread" (kinh.) Finally, at 6:00 PM, you'll board the boat to admire the sunset before returning to the marina and heading back to Hue.

End of the program.
