Paradise cave and Dark cave (Group tour.)

Tour Code: PN06
Duration: 01
Level: Easy

Paradise Cave is the longest dry cave in Asia (located in the central area of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park). With its naturally primitive features, Paradise Cave resembles a scenic painting, making it a natural wonder that many have enjoyed since its opening in 2010. The cave can reach up to 72 meters in height and 150 meters in width. There is a series of white crystal stalactites (calcareous deposits) resembling natural pillars and many other spectacular formations. The visit includes a buggy ride through the jungle, a 200-meter uphill hike to the cave entrance, and a 1-kilometer exploration inside the cave along wooden walkways installed to protect the ancient stalagmites and stalactites. All the magnificent formations are delicately illuminated to highlight their splendor.

A visit to Dark Cave is an adventurous and action-packed experience. This visit includes a zip-line over a river with turquoise waters, swimming to the mouth of the cave (life jackets provided), walking in the dark with only a headlamp on your helmet to light the way, a mud fight at the bottom of the cave, and swimming in the lake inside the cave. Return by kayak on the river via the suspended obstacle course and open zip-lines. Dark Cave is named so because it is one of the few caves without artificial lighting. It is mainly composed of basalt and limestone. Basalt is a black, hard rock that also contributes to the cave's name.
