Authentic cruise in Lan Ha & Halong bays.

Day 1: Hanoi – Cat Ba – Lan Ha Bay – Halong (Lunch, Dinner)

After breakfast at your hotel, a driver will pick you up and take you to Cat Ba. You'll have the chance to discover the beauty and richness of the Red River delta in the south and admire the stunning countryside landscapes of Vietnam.

Upon arrival in Cat Ba, the driver will take you directly to the junk company office to drop off your luggage. You will then be transported to the Bến Bèo port in Cat Ba.

Onboard, you will be welcomed with a refreshment and a brief introduction of the team and the day's program. You can then check into your cabin on the traditional boat and start sailing towards Lan Ha bay, passing through the largest floating village in the Tonkin Gulf, with over 400 floating houses and hundreds of beautiful limestone islands. You'll experience local life on the water and seafood farming in the bay.

Lunch will be served in the boat's restaurant, featuring fresh, local seafood. You will then continue to cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Lan Ha bay, offering breathtaking views of this UNESCO World Heritage site. Although smaller than Ha Long bay, Lan Ha bay is ideal for kayaking and swimming due to the close proximity of the karst islands.

The cruise will proceed along the border between Lan Ha bay and Halong bay, avoiding the heavily traveled routes. You'll discover a secluded part of Halong Bay and have the opportunity to kayak and explore three natural limestone caves.

The junk will then head to the overnight anchorage. You can relax and enjoy the sunset over the bay. Fresh seafood dinner will be served onboard, and you will spend the night in a beautiful, isolated setting on a traditional boat, away from other vessels. After dinner, you’ll have the chance to try squid fishing, a memorable experience.
 

Day 2: Bay cruise and shared bus return to Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast at sunrise, the junk's anchor will be lifted to continue exploring the wonders of the bay.

The junk will take you to visit a fish farm to see the typical fish species cultivated in the bay. You will then return to the boat and sail towards Van Boi Beach, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim before returning to Beo Dock. You'll check out of your cabin and enjoy lunch while cruising through beautiful landscapes.

Upon arrival at Beo Dock, you'll disembark and be transferred back to Cat Ba town. The driver will drop you off at the Cat Ba town center office.

You will have free time to explore Cat Ba town. Then, you will take transportation back to Hanoi, where the driver will drop you off at your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

You will have free time for rest, dinner at your leisure, and spend the night at the hotel at your own expense.
