Breakfast at the hotel. Approximately 30 km of travel (including 2 hours of cycling, 1 hour for lunch, and 1 hour for the return). This is a very local experience.
From Phnom Penh, take a trip to Koh Dach Island, located in the middle of the Mekong River, very close to Phnom Penh. Exploring the island by bike offers authentic moments through nature, fruit trees, fields, and the riverbanks of the Mekong. You’ll hear the rhythmic sound of looms, present in all traditional stilt houses.

Enjoy a lunch break (at your own expense), with a traditional meal prepared by a local family.
Return to Phnom Penh. Visit the National Museum and the Silver Pagoda, located within the Royal Palace complex, followed by Wat Phnom Pagoda. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Day 03 : Phnom Penh – Siem Reap (B, L) | Driver only.

Travel by road without a guide to Siem Reap, passing through Kompong Thom, situated by the large Tonle Sap Lake. Along the way, visit the Skun Market, known as the "insect market." The journey takes you through Khmer villages, rice paddies, and vegetable gardens.
Stop at Kompong Kdei to see an ancient archaeological bridge dating back to the Angkorian era.
Check in at the hotel and overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 04 : Siem Reap – Angkor Wat – Angkor Thom (B, L) | Guide and driver.

Today, discover the city of Siem Reap.
In the morning, admire the sunrise over the magnificent Angkor Wat Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Visit Angkor Thom (the "Great City"), starting at the South Gate, the famous Bayon Temple from the 12th and 13th centuries, the Baphuon Temple (11th century), dedicated to Brahmanism (ancient Hinduism), the Terrace of the Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King.
Enjoy dinner with an Apsara dance show. Return to your hotel for the second night.

Day 05 : Siem Reap – Small Circuit – Grand Circuit (B) | Guide and driver.

After breakfast, visit the temples in the heart of Angkor, known as the "Small Circuit": Ta Prohm, where massive trees dominate the monastery, wrapping their roots around the ruins like giant octopuses.
Continue with visits to Thommanon, Chau Say Tevoda, Ta Keo, Banteay Kdei, and the Terrace of Sras Srang.

In the afternoon, visit the sites of the East Baray, also known as the "Grand Circuit": Pre Rup, Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Pean, and Preah Khan.
Enjoy the sunset from Phnom Bakheng Temple. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06 : Siem Reap – Kbal Spean – Banteay Srei – Siem Reap (B, L) | Guide and driver.

Take an excursion to Kbal Spean ("The River of a Thousand Lingas"), located 30 km (1 hour’s drive) north of Angkor. The site is reached after a 45-minute walk through a tropical forest.

Next, visit Banteay Srei Temple ("The Citadel of Women"), dedicated to Shiva. Its architecture and pink sandstone carvings are a masterpiece of Khmer art.

Continue to Banteay Samre Temple, fully restored before the Indochina War. This site gives a good impression of what ancient Angkor looked like.
On the way back, visit the Banteay Srei Butterfly Center (BBC), the largest butterfly exhibition in Southeast Asia. This tranquil park is home to hundreds of butterflies fluttering around the plants. Overnight at the hotel.

Option: In the evening at 8:00 PM, attend a Phare Ponleu Selpak show, combining Cambodian circus and dance.

  • Section A: $35/ticket
  • Section B: $25/ticket
Enjoy an entertaining and awe-inspiring performance by the Phare Circus troupe. All artists are graduates of the Phare school. The show opposes animal exploitation, with performances solely by talented young Khmer artists.
Note: Please avoid using flash photography to ensure the safety and focus of the performers.

Day 07 : Siem Reap – Tonle Sap – Siem Reap – Departure (B, L) | Guide and driver.

In the morning, take a short transfer to the authentic fishing village of Kampong Pluk, far from mass tourism, for a 2-hour cruise on Tonle Sap Lake, the largest lake in Indochina, spanning 100 km. For centuries, fishermen have lived on the water, their quality of life depending on the Mekong floods during the rainy season.

Return to Siem Reap, and visit the Artisans d'Angkor School, established in 1992, to explore wood carving, polychrome stone sculpture, and training workshops for young artists.

Transfer to Siem Reap airport for your departure flight.
