Day 1 : Ho Chi Minh City - Bến Tre - Cần Thơ (B, L.)

At 8:00 AM, meet your guide and driver at Base Backpackers Hotel, located at 129 Đ. Đề Thám. Depart for Bến Tre, a picturesque region in the Mekong Delta, renowned for its coconut candy.

Board a boat at Hung Vuong pier for an excursion on the Bến Tre river, where you'll experience daily life along the riverbanks. Continue your boat journey through the canals to the village of Nhon Thanh, where you will have the opportunity to taste fresh local fruits. Then hop on a tuk-tuk to explore scenic paths, admiring coconut groves, rice paddies, and vegetable gardens. Enjoy a brief walk for a deeper immersion in local life before embarking on a rowboat ride through the shaded small canals lined with wild palm trees. For those interested, a bike ride is also available, offering the chance to visit Mr. Sau Khanh and his collection of antique objects, followed by exploration of the rice fields and interactions with the locals.

Afterward, transfer to Cần Thơ. Arrive in the late afternoon, check into your hotel, and enjoy free time to explore this Mekong riverside city.

 

Day 2 : Cần Thơ - Ho Chi Minh City - Departure (B.)

Rise early at 6:00 AM to visit the famous Cái Răng floating market, which comes alive from 5:00 AM. This is the largest and most vibrant floating market in the Mekong Delta, offering a colorful and flavorful spectacle with hundreds of boats loaded with goods, rice, fruits, and handicrafts.

After visiting the floating market, continue your boat excursion through the canals to explore a fruit garden (or an optional nursery near the river.) Then head back to the An Bình market, known for its abundance of fish, fruits, and vegetables. Conclude the day with a visit to the historic Bình Thủy house, featuring a lovely orchid garden and the location where the famous film "L'Amant" was shot.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
